Working Hours
The scientific studies of full-time faculty members, lecturers and administrative staff working at Istanbul Health and Technology University are rewarded with incentive allowance. Incentive applications in the form of articles, reviews, case reports, books, book chapters and book editing are evaluated by the "Academic Incentive Upper Evaluation Commission" and the "Library and Documentation Department", while applications in the form of patents, projects, utility models or designs are evaluated by the "Scientific Research Projects Commission". The important issues to be taken as basis for evaluation in incentive calculations; ✓ The relevant publication or scientific activity must be published with the address "Istanbul Health and Technology University or Istanbul Health and Technology University".
✓ All scientific activities with the address of Istanbul Health and Technology University must be added to the institutional academic archive.
✓ The official e-mail address with the extension "istun.edu.tr" must be used for the responsible author allowance (10%).
✓ Scientific studies must have a DOI number.
✓ Publications must be indexed in Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, TR-Dizin or other Domain Indexes.
✓ For international/national book chapters, incentive allowance is calculated for a maximum of 3 chapters in the same book.
✓ International collaboration is multiplied by a coefficient of 1.5.
✓ Journal impact values and Quartile information are obtained from the Web of Science platform.
✓ Citations are evaluated on a yearly basis in Web of Science (SCI-E, SSCI, AHCI / Q1-Q2-Q3-Q4) and Scopus indexes. Researchers who receive 10 or more citations in the relevant year can benefit from the citation allowance.
✓ The incentive allowance is evaluated in four different parts as "publication allowance, international collaboration, corresponding author and citation".
