Library Usege

ISTUN Library provides resources and services to support education and training activities at Istanbul University of Health and Technology. The library also strives to create and maintain an enabling environment for members of the academic community to engage in productive research and study.

It is the responsibility of Library users to contribute to this atmosphere and to show respect for other users. As such, users are expected to adhere to the library's code of conduct and refrain from any unacceptable behavior that may interfere with other users' work or research.

• It is forbidden to consume food, beverages and any kind of food inside the library and to use tobacco products.
• Users are responsible for protecting their belongings. The library is not responsible for any theft, loss, etc. that may occur.
• Guest users can use the library with permission from the library administration.
• It is forbidden to talk loudly, use cell phones or make noise in the library.
• It is forbidden to hold space in the library. Spaces unused for more than 30 minutes are offered to other users.
• Personal belongings cannot be left on study desks and individual study rooms to save space.
• Legal action will be taken against users who damage any library materials and/or attempt to take materials out of the library without permission.
• Books taken off the shelves should be left on tables, not placed on shelves.
• There is no group work or working out loud except in designated areas in the library.
• Cameras, cameras, etc. cannot be recorded in the library without permission.
• Equipment (computers, tables, chairs, etc.) in the library can only be moved by the staff.
• Users cannot use the vehicles belonging to library staff without permission.
• Kullanıcılar kütüphanede bulunan bilgisayarlardaki programları kopyalayamazlar.
• Users are personally responsible for any legal issues that may arise from the use of the internet.
• The rules may be revised when deemed necessary by the Library and Documentation Department.
• All users are obliged to abide by the library rules.
