ISTUN Library creates and continuously develops its library collection within the scope of a specific policy in accordance with the education and training activities carried out at the university, with the suggestions of internal and external stakeholders and the selection of publications by experts.

Source Selection Criteria;

1. Compliance of the subject, language and content of the resource with the programs of Istanbul Health and Technology University,
2. Suitability for collection,
3. Interdisciplinary use,
4. The importance and status of the author or editor,
5. Cost of the resource,
6. Güncel ve güvenilir,
7. Recommendations from critics and university members,
8. The credibility and standards of the publishing house
9. The condition of physical form is important.

You can suggest publications that are not available in the library collection using the "Publication Order Form". However, it should be noted that there is no guarantee that a recommended resource will be purchased.
